Salopian Wine Cheeseboards by Sarah Hill, Wem, Shropshire

Congratulations to Sarah for winning Highly Commended in the Eco-friendly section of the Gift of the Year 2009. A fantastic award for a fantastic gift

This Salopian Wine Cheese Plate is created out of a recycled glass bottle. The Cheese Knife is handcrafted in Shropshire and made from locally sourced reclaimed wood.

Designed by Sarah Hill from Wem, Shropshire, the fabulous platter can be used for Cheese and Biscuits, pate, sushi, fruit, deserts, a candle centre piece ... the ideas are endless!

The Recylcled Bottle Cheese Platter and Knife measure 28cm x 14cm and 21cm.

Sarah's glass studio is situated in the beautiful Shropshire countryside close to the Welsh borders. She founded her business in 2004 and now provides glass jewellery to shops and galleries throughout the UK, Ireland and now Japan.
Her work is inspired by the colours and vibrancy of the countryside in which she lives, and echoed in glass, plus the need to recycle and reclaim in today's society.
